I have tried this and for a finance function, this simply doesn’t work. The finance function operates on a monthly cycle, and not a weekly cycle. In addition, it can take far longer than one day to formally close the monthly accounts, produce the required Management Accounts with re-Forecasting which now takes you to two or three weeks, every month.

We offer an On-Demand Service. Why would you want to reduce my working time to one fixed day per week, when I can be available every day of every week. We welcome weekly meetings at set times, if that is how you like to work?!?

This is an Optional Extra if required. One of – if not my biggest – frustration with the Accounting industry is the fees charged for Statutory Accounts and submissions. I believe I am a far more cost effective solution to this compulsory task.

Absolutely not. You’re the boss, you let us know how you wish to work. Some clients do prefer to have a second opinion on the accounts either prior to submission or on that annual basis.

I love meeting and working with people AND getting to know you and the inner workings of your business is fundamental to the service I provide so I’d be delighted to work from your offices on occasion. Especially where meetings are involved. However, I cannot work at the same speed within someone else’s office and so do restrict fully in-housed working to once or twice per year.
